This one is for little pumpkin to wear
And this one is for Small fry. This one turned out a bit big because I didn't use a pattern and just made it up one night while talking to my brother on the phone so it turned out a bit longer than I wanted but it will work for her. 
The top is a pair of hand me down jeans that had a hole in the knee so I just cut them off and turned them into a skirt. I saw the idea on a family friends blog a while ago. I thought what a great idea. I am thinking I have to make more of these.
The dress is darling for a smaller child...but, I love love love the bottom skirt. My child is five and we have a lot of jeans that still fit her waist but are really too short for anything more than capris. If you could share some sort of pattern for the skirt, I would be SO grateful. I want to make about 100 of them.
ReplyDeletei was actually planning on doing a tutorial for the skirt after melon days are over. I want to make a bunch more of these too. So check back. Tutorial on it's way.
