Easy Turkey Brown Bag Project

Here is a cute turkey brown paper bag idea. I made this from a lunch sack sized paper bag. I didn't attach a handle on this one but that could easily be done and be used as a gift bag for a thank you gift for a teacher or a neighbor. These would also be cute as decorations or even to hold luminary candles on a table. Here is what you need:
1 paper bag cut down to 5 inches
6 feathers cut from alternating fall colors
2 cardstock inserts measuring 4 3/4 x 4 3/4
double stick tape
( I have patterns for the feathers and head coming soon. You could easily create your own too)

Step 1. Cut your paper bag down to size. Cut out your feathers. Attach your feathers together using the double sided tape.

Step 2. Place pieces of double sided tape on the cardstock pieces and attach to the insides of the paper bag to give it stability.
Step 3. Now on the back side of the bag make about 3 or 4 rows of double sided tape to attach your tail feathers and then stick them in place.
Will look like this.
Step 4. Trace the head pattern on dark brown cardstock and cut out. Cut out a beak and waddle piece as well. Assemble the head.
This is how mine looks.
Step 5. Attach the head to the front of the bag and there you have it. Perfect for the season. Enjoy.
