Gifts from the Heart Part 1 (and Happy Birthday to my Mom)

This is a present I made for my mom for her birthday, which is today.  I have finally figured out, after all these years, that she loves thoughtful gifts from the heart.  I am sure she is not the only one.  That is why I am doing a "Gifts from the Heart" series before Christmas.  I am including this one, because it could just as easily be a perfect Christmas gift.  It is a book called, "Lessons I learned from my Mom."
Inside on each page is a "main" lesson I have learned from my mom over my 31 years of life.  On the sides, on additional tags and stickers I added my own personal thoughts in my own handwriting.  I think that personalization is super important when it comes to gifts from the heart.
It isn't extremely fancy or scrapbooky.  The purpose was not to present a "masterpiece" scrapbook.  The purpose was to share my feelings.

Like on this page for example on the side I wrote about I have so much gratitude for my mom for being willing to take us to so many places all by herself when we were kids.  She wanted us to see and experience things and she didn't let the fact that she would have to take us alone or travel across many states to do so stop her.  On the tag I listed as many places that I have been/things I experienced thanks to her.
Happy birthday mom. I love you very much.  I can't wait until your gift arrives in the mail.  I know you will love it.
