The big 2

I am sure every parent says it when it happens but here I am to say it now that it is my turn, "I can't believe she is turning 2 next week." I was going to go all out and do a whole Dora themed party and invite all the little nursery kids and the whole shabang and then I came to my senses and realized all that would come of that would be a stressed out mom and a daughter who was upset because she had to share. So I decided to keep it low key and we are having a backyard picnic party instead. My husband and I are currently in the middle of some major backyard renovations and hoping to be done before the big party (YA RIGHT) so we will see how it all turns out.

(this says it all -the party will be over when the birthday girl has had enough and don't worry folks-she will let us all know.)

Isn't she so cute. I found her like this yesterday when I came out of the shower. She was sitting in the baby swing watching Dora.
