Today I want to share with you the second piece for my Bunny Brunch table: napkin rings. These are super easy and really, really cute-maybe not appropriate for a fancy Easter dinner but perfect for the kids table for sure and they are going to be perfect for our table.
To make them you will need the pattern (I used this pattern from Spoonful-I used the smaller bunny pattern and made it about a 1/4 inch smaller all the way around), sticky backed fun foam in white and pink, some cute patterned paper for the back of the bunny, a cotton ball for the tail, a piece of cardstock 5 1/2"x 1 1/2" and some crafting chalk.
First trace the pattern onto the patterned paper and cut it out. Then cut it into 3 pieces like this:
Adhere the top piece
And the bottom piece but not the middle. This is where you will stick it to the napkin ring.
Now make your napkin ring by creating a loop from the white cardstock and stapling it.
Attach the bunny to the cardstock.
Then finish his cute face. I added his nose and two little eyes.
I chalked his cheeks and ears and then gave him a cute polka dot bow.
And don't forget his tail (attached with a glue dot). Now your napkin ring is ready to do it's duty.
He looks super cute alone doing his job.
He looks ever cuter with a friend. So easy to make. There is no reason why you couldn't make these for your whole family. Kids will love them and they could be saved and reused year after year. Simple bunny napkin ring holders are a perfect addition to your Easter celebration.
I love this!! We have so many little kiddos at our family gatherings that cute usually trumps fancy. I'm definitely going to be making these for our Easter celebration this year! Thanks for such a cute idea
