My world has suddenly turned upside down. My parents were supposed to come to visit for Easter but instead I am driving with my girls to Canada to be with my dad as he undergoes intense chemotherapy as he was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last week. I don't know what will happen in the next while. Hopefully I can craft but I am going to have to take a break from blogging for a bit. I have stuff scheduled to post for the next couple of weeks but when those run out I am just going to be M.I.A. until things get a bit more normal. I am sure my lack of blogging will not alter the course of any of your lives but I hope you will be patient and continue to check on Small Fry & Co. and wait for my return.
Thanks a million to all my fabulous readers and commenters!!
Heather
Prayers to you and yours.....

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear of your news. Your family will be in my prayers. I'm not sure where in Canada you and your family will be. I am in Calgary if there is anything you and the girls need (even someone to keep them entertained at the hospital) please let me know. I know all too well how hard it is, and it would be a blessing for me to be able to do anything I can for you.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well for you and your family. Hope he fights the cancer!!

ReplyDeleteHeather, SO SO SO sorry to hear about your Father! Truly sad! Cancer is an awful monster. I hope it goes better for your father than for mine:( Make the most of every moment you get with him. I saw this quote on a blog and highlighted it on my blog because it is powerful. I hope you get the chance to read it and share it with your family!!! http://somedaycrafts.blogspot.com/2011/01/cancer-is-so-limited-must-read.html
