Dear Walmart (for all of you who have missed my rantings)

You pretty much have the worst selection of adult women's pajamas that I have ever seen.  I am looking for a nice comfy pair or two of pj's to wear post giving birth but never in my adult life have I said, "gee I hope this store has Winne the pooh, cat in the hat, Oscar the grouch or Tinkerbell pajamas for me to wear." But guess what Walmart-that is all you have.  What adult woman is looking for cartoon pj's (don't answer that)?  I know that your stores vary from place to place but I don't think I have ever seen a decent pair of pj's in any of your stores.  Thanks but no thanks for the useless supply of juvenile pj's for the adult ladies crowd.
Sincerely,
Looking for comfy pants elsewhere

And as one final tribute to Walmart:

Dear Walmart

Dear Walmart,
I recently purchased some of your Parents Choice diapers.  The package said they were "new and improved."  Somehow I think that "new and improved" is code for: cheaper, less absorbent, rougher, less leakage protection and all around suckier.  I am not impressed.  I have bought Parents Choice diapers since my first baby was born and generally find Walmart brand products to be pretty good, but you have lost my loyalty on this one.  I think you need to revisit your improvements department because this one was a flop.
Sincerely
Shopping elsewhere for diapers

Dear Walmart (This may only apply to my location)

Dear Walmart,
K-mart had a better selection of shoes than you did this past weekend and that isn't saying much. You would think when you have the monopoly on a market that you would...I don't know...offer some sort of selection to actually interest someone in buying something from that department rather than saying, "heck I will wait until I go some place else." Will you ever learn or will you just keep stocking really ugly footwear?
Sincerely,
Waiting until I go some place else.

Dear Walmart

Dear Walmart,
Okay, so you are downsizing or eliminating a lot of your fabric departments. What is up with that? Is it because you think that there is not enough interest in sewing and fabric? If that is the case, I along with a few other bloggers could hook you up with thousands of sewing blogs in minutes which would show you that sewing is not a dying art form but is making a come back actually. Perhaps this change will not affect shoppers in large urban centers where there are lots of other choices for purchasing fabric, but for those of us podunksville folk who don't have many options this really bites. Perhaps the lack of business that your fabric departments are generating has nothing to do with the lack of interest in sewing in general and has a whole lot more to do with your crapy fabric selection (and extremely slow fabric cutting staff [at least in my neck of the woods-I won't generalize for all of our great nation]). Get some decent choices and you might just see sales boom. But you won't ever know that will you big blue. Just get rid of it all together. I would much rather shop at the "other" places anyway and now I have a good excuse to tell my husband. I guess you are doing me a favor aren't you Walmart-how kind of you.
Sincerely
Hoping there are some good clearance sales in the fabric dept. in the next few weeks.

Dear Walmart

Dear Super Walmart,
The only thing that was super about you today was your long lines (seriously people 4 cashiers open on a Wed afternoon-maybe if it was 10:00pm I would understand but you had over 5 people at each line-is that not telling you something?), the super tantrum small fry threw while we were WAITING in the pharmacy, and the super huge hole I wanted to dig and bury myself in during said tantrum. The tantrum really isn't your fault but it feels better if I blame it on you. Something about your store makes me want to ram my cart into a lamp post every time I leave. You keep getting my money only because you are my only option big blue-just remember that.

Sincerlely,
SUPER Frustrated.

Dear WalMart

Dear Walmart,
Ever heard of a little season called Spring? In most of the continental United States we experience slush, mud puddles, melting snow, and rain during this season. You would think that you would jump on board by offering your loyal customers some sort of selection of rain boots. But oh no Walmart. You have gone from winter snow boots right to sandals, skipping over the season entirely. Not a rainboot to be found in your store. Sorry I take that back, you had those big black ugly mens rubber boots. You leave me no choice but to go elsewhere to find my puddle loving daughter a pair of rain boots for the season we are praying will arrive any day now. Thanks once again Walmart for giving us the appearance of a store that has everything but really has not much of anything.
Sincerely,
Dissatisfied.

Anyone out there know where I can find some really cute, affordable rainboots for small fry currently a size 5?

Dear Walmart

This could be a regular feature

Dear Walmart
If you are going to advertise how you are helping the environment by going green with your reusable shopping bags the least you could do is come up with some way to hold said shopping bags at your check out stations so that the cashiers could put the groceries in them a little faster and not hold up the 8 people waiting behind you. Every time I get to the check out the cashiers fumble with my stack of reusable bags as if they were a pile of dirty underwear that they are not sure how to handle. Some of them let me know how much they dislike them and others let me know how hard they are to pack. And every time I am hold up the line. I am trying to help the environment. I should be getting a 1cent discount or something, not grief at the check out. I am just going to start holding open my own bags from now on. Going green; it's the wave of the future Walmart. A new little hookydoo for the reusable bags to speed up the check out process; that's all I am asking.
And while I am writing, why is it that you always seem to have your slowest employees stationed at your speed/fast lane check outs?
Sincerely,
The shopper who was grateful for the $3.33 frozen pizzas but not the long lines once again.
