Another Valentine Idea-Initial Cookies

I thought I would quickly share another Valentines Day idea. I made these for all of our nieces and nephews and sent them each a little package for V-day. I always loved getting packages from my aunt when I was younger so I wanted to continue the tradition. I have a set of alphabet cookie cutters so I cut out the first letter of each niece or nephews name as well as some heart shaped cookies. I decorated the hearts as conversation heart cookies and frosted the letters and gave them a dusting of coordinating sanding sugar. I wrapped up each set in a little box. It is a really inexpensive way to give a personalized valentine that is yummy and special.
