Family album and the reason why I have been feeling so lousy

Here is another craft project that I got done this weekend while daddy was home to play with small fry. I had got this album with an order I placed from Oriental Trading Company. They have a large variety of scrapbooking stuff and it all looks so cute but the thing that I find with them is that you don't ever know of the exact quality of the things you are ordering. Sometimes you get something really good and sometimes you get something that is really cheap (and I don't just mean the price, though their stuff is cheap in price). Has anyone found some good quality scrapbooking stuff from them? I would really like to know. Well anyway I had ordered this album a few years ago and finally got around to pulling it out. I had to take the whole thing apart, pull all the pockets off and reglue them because the way they were glued there was no way you could ever get a picture to slide in them. So with a little extra work involved I did end up with a really cute little family album. I used chipboard letters to spell the word family on the album and used family pictures from over the year. It turned out really cute; simple but cute. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures to post because I took them in what was the sunniest room of my house at the time (the bathroom) and you could clearly see the toilet in the background. That just would not do for the blog. Sorry. So here a few of the pages.
In other news I decided to bite the bullet and go to the doctor today because my "cold" has just been getting worse and I was having such a hard time sleeping/talking/breathing. So I went and turns out my little cold is bronchitis and pneumonia. Yep, both taking up residence in my lungs. Lucky for me there are a few things I can take at this stage in pregnancy and so hopefully I will be back to normal in a few days. No wonder I have been feeling so lousy.

  1. Wait. So you did the whole book in one day? I have been staring at my wedding album (which is more a scrapbook with a stack of pictures on top of it) for months and don't even start it because I know it will take me forever and ever. I really wish I was creative and crafty enough to do the whole thing in one weekend. Yours looks terrific.
