My husband is gone out of town for a couple of days for a basketball tournament leaving me with the two girls. I can handle this, but it sure is nice when daddy comes home to offer some relief and excitement to the mix. Well anyway we did pretty good keeping occupied and having fun today but the evening was approaching and I was running out of steam. Luckily our town was having it's first annual Christmas lights parade (which is equivalent to 4 or 5 decorated trucks, a tractor or two and a fire truck but a parade just the same). I had told small fry about it all day and we were excited for something to do. So because it takes us an average of 20 minutes to get out the door I started preping early:-shoes on small fry
-sweet pea in her carseat
-find the hat for sweet pea
-find small fry's coat
-wrangle small fry to get the coat on
-gloves for small fry
-cover up sweet pea
-find water bottles
-grab diaper bag just in case
-start car to get it warm
-small fry in the car
-sweet pea in the car
-mommy in the car
-drive to main street
and
remember that the light parade is on December 5th-oh ya, today is only the 4th. Great!!!
