How to tell when your sick child is on her way to recovery:
the sick, snuggly, wants to sit on your lap, lay her head on your shoulder, hardly says a peep for two days child is replaced with one who stands in the middle of the room, fists by her side, straight as a board, face beat red screaming for more Elmo's World.
Normalcy, welcome back to our house.

Oh goodness, I had to laugh when I read this since I have a 2 and 4yr old and knew exactly what you meant first hand! I love your blog btw :)
ReplyDeletemy cousin that is six never really sits still, never cuddly for long cuddles, just hugs quickly and off she goes. Unless she is sick...She will turn into the ultimate cuddle monster, and it feels so great and to get her cuddles, one day I happened to be the recipient of the cuddles.I was enjoying the moment and I asked myself why is she cuddly, and asked her the ? are you feeling well. Now, we know better if she is cuddly she will be sick 6 hours later and you are now exposed to the death cold- flu that never goes away but she will be fine running around 2 days later, but you feel like dying. so the joke now is, if she is cuddly be be scared, very scared!!!!
