I just wanted to say thank you to those who commented about my blogging break. Your comments were so sweet. I do have intentions of posting some things over the next few months. Just wanted to say I didn't think even one second about blogging this past week because this happened:
My parents came from Canada-including my dad who is cancer free. It is a miracle. He had some very low points and it looked bleak but he has been given a clean bill of health and he felt well enough to come and I have to say that we were thrilled. We have spent every minute of the last week involved in something and have had the most wonderful time. My parents are warm and loving, they play so well with the girls and get excited about things with them, and they give the girls such love and praise. It was so refreshing and uplifting. I have not done one normal thing I usually do this past week except cook and do laundry so now that they are one their way home I can get my brain organized and hopefully even share a few "beginning to look like Christmas" crafts. Thanks to everyone who loves Small Fry-you make my day.
That is so exciting! I am glad that he is cancer free. I bet you are too, it is always fun to have them come too visit.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you got to spend time with your parents. It is so nice that small fry and pumpkin can know their grandparents. Enjoy your life while you are living it...Jackie
ReplyDeleteThe best thing you can do is take time off from everything and spend it making memories for yourself and your girls, with your parents. Times like these only happen once and you will never regret you spent that time with them. Even though you will probably still see them many times, each time is unique and special and will never be the same as the time before. It's neat you are able to have this time with both your parents and your girls.
ReplyDeleteHooray for Grandparents and Miracles! God is good! Enjoy your time!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than time spent between grandparents and grandchildren - what a very special time you will cherish always!
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, your mom is super fashionable! I almost bought that exact shirt yesterday...but it looks a lot better on her than it did me!
