Beautiful Blogger Award

I was super excited to receive this blog award from Enjoy Life, Enjoy Now. I think that this woman comments on my blog more than anyone else (WHICH I LOVE) and we have never met and don't know each other except through the blogging world. So go over and check her new blog out. And thank you for the award. It always makes my day to get these little bits of recognition even if they mean nothing outside of the blogging world. I really love my blog and blogging in general and I try and keep it updated, funny, fresh and helpful so it is nice to get this as a little boost for what I do.

Part of the rules of the award is to share 7 things about myself. Since it has been a hectic weekend and we are approaching an even crazier week (state basketball for my husband's team) I might not have much else to blog about so I thought I would share at least 7 things about myself. Here goes:
1. You can find me singing songs from Dora the Explorer at anytime and in any place on any given day (it has sunk that far into my brain).
2. I think that I could get addicted to buying food for my food storage
3. I love movie theater popcorn more than any other kind in the world
4. If I get mascara on in the morning I consider myself to have put on "my makeup"
5. I am still afraid of going to the dentist. I worked up courage to go once last year and now I can't work up enough courage to go again.
6. I miss playing my guitar as much as I used to when I lived alone in the middle of no where Montana
7. I wish I knew how to use photo shop.

I will start with my 10 honest things

1. I am addicted to cheese, dill pickles and cookies

2. I hate loud noises

3. I would rather be plain like the pioneers than spend hours on myself everyday before feeling like I can leave the house

4. I wish my husband would dance in the kitchen with me more

5. I love getting snail mail (you know the stuff in your mailbox)

6. I hate making lunch ( I can handle breakfast and dinner just fine but I hate making lunch)

7. I am not good at making or flipping pancakes

8. I haven't been to a movie in years and I would really just love to go to one for the popcorn

9. I do not like clutter but seem to live fine in the "organized clutter" of my sewing room

10. I would love to be able to sew without having to use a pattern and cook brilliantly without a recipe, I just haven't gotten that adventurous.

I almost forgot

Since I first did this post I have recieved this award from 3 other bloggers so I just wanted to say thank you to Samantha at Two Hearts Together, Leslie at Celebrating Home, Misty at Creative Itch and Alicia at Imma Mama for also giving me this award. AHHH, it is so great to have people that love/enjoy this blog.

This was a while ago and I meant to post about it when it happened but somehow almost a week slipped by me. I wanted to thank Lacey over at Laptops to Lullabies for the blog award she gave to me. It was great to read that she checks on me and my little blog daily (if only I would post something daily). Thanks a million for the recognition.

My First Blog Award

Well this was one of the coolest surprises in a long time. Katie from Katies Nesting Spot included me in her top 10 favs to get this award. How great is that. Thanks a million Katie. The award is for people who do inspiring projects/work and generally make me smile and laugh. I am so happy to be included. I thought that I would like to take a moment and pass on the award to a few bloggers that I have found. I don't think that I have 10 to share it with but I wouldn't feel right not passing it on at all. So here we go:

1. This and That. This gal is a woman after my own heart. She is a mother and I am sure as busy as any of us moms and yet she makes time for creative things which I think everything mother needs to be well rounded. I can't narrow down one specific project I love of hers most, I just love everything she does and recommend her blog as a favorite.

2. Homemaking Fun. Again I can't say that I love this blog for any one project because they are all inspiring and amazing. Here is a lady with a ton of creative talent. I love this blog and can't get enough of her great ideas.

3. Paper Cakes. Here is a gal with a ton of creativity. I love all the little details she puts in everything she makes. Again there is no one particular thing I love most I just think that everyone should check out her blog if you haven't already.

4. Bake at 350. Lastly if you are addicted to cookies like I am then this is the blog for you. Cookies, cookies and more cookies mixed in with a few other sweet treats. This woman is amazing. I think she makes the best looking sugar cookies in the world. If only I could taste through my computer.

5. I also want to give a shout out to Sweet Mady's Paper. I found this blog because she left me a comment is how it all started I believe and she has amazingly cute stuff. I just went to check on her blog and she posted that she accidentally erased all of her posts. Oh I would just cry. She does have a link to her new store website so you can still check her stuff out. So sorry about the posts, but I love your blog just the same.
