My Pinterest Pledge

Isn't Pinterest the most amazing thing ever!!!  My problem is that I can't stop pinning and I need to do more trying; thus I have made a pledge with myself to not just keep pinning new ideas but to actually try out more of them.  Who's with me?

  1. I am happy to say that I have been making or attempting to make things I have pinned. I too, love pinterest and am just amazed at how many ideas are out there. My favorite things are recycled or upcycled items. Taking old and making it new or into something different. I will say that I have stopped my random pinning of things and now pin items that are meaningful to me or things that I may want to refer back to in the future - like recipes and such.
    Have a great day!

  2. I have made a few things... making a pinboard to pin those things to lets me feel accomplished while pinning some more! LOL! I am a more limited pinner these days, though. :) Definitely want to try more, too.

  3. YES!!! I have the same problem!!! I Pin something cool, with the mindset that I will be recreating the item soon... I even buy everything to make the Pin within days. Then post on my Blog (I have a 'What I Found Friday") as a project I'm working on. But, weeks down the road - no new project, just bags of supplies needed to make whatever my latest obsession was.

Hmmm... i think I'll Pin your sign!

  4. You absolutely took the words right outta my mouth! This is my problem too! Sadly, I pin FAR more than I create. I could pledge to make more and pin less, but I only have snippets of time to pin... and none to create at the moment. So I'll keep pinning until life calms down a bit! Can't wait to see pictures of your pin projects!
